| It is startling that the nation maintains no standing forces. If we were attacked today, how long would it take for our army of part-timers and reservists to respond? However small it may be we need a permanent standing armed forces that is able to quickly respond to any threats there may be. This will also provide career opportunities for our citizens and more experienced command for our troops. |
