| Given that it is universally undemocratic to allow local prefectures to make the decision as to whether or not cannabis ought to be legal for medicinal purposes, it is hereby proposes that this law is loosened. There is a law on the books that currently doesn't stop a citizen of Likatonia from injesting any kind of substance. Since medicial marijuana has properties which may be beneficial for certain illnesses, it is recommended and encouraged that the substance is national legal as a medicial alternative and that those who need it don't have to travel out of prefecture in order to seek it should their prefecture decide not to legalise it. This act will leave the decision up to the medical professional(s) overseeing the patient's case, since the medical professionals are trained to know what they should prescribe for certain conditions. |
