Bill: Bill NP-119: Right of the media act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Progress Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4258

Description[?]:

(This bill was proposed by the senator Rose Davies)
We shouldn't tell to the television channels what they can or can't show. People are responsible enough decide by themselves what they want to watch and parents are responsible enough to supervise what their children are whatching. The law of Hutori already state that nudity and sexuality should only be show during hours that very few children are watching so I don't see what it we should keep sexually explicit material banned.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.

Random quote: "The one bonus of not lifting the ban on gays in the military is that the next time the government mandates a draft we can all declare homosexuality instead of running off to Canada." - Lorne Bloch
