| This bill is to change the legal age of being a recognized adult from 16 to 18. It is no surprise that a lot of development goes on from age 16-18, very important life changing revelations may be realized. Also, a regrettable crime or mistake at 16 shouldn't haunt a child for the rest of their life because they did something that just a few years later they would be to the point of maturity of avoiding silly/childish mistakes. Being tried as an adult for a simple crime at 16 could stick on a persons record forever. That is not fair. 16 year olds these days are not full blown adults, mentally or ideologically.
