Details

Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4274
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker , in this day and age with the rise in artificial intelligence, I believe it's time for us as parliamentarians to take a look at the impact if such economic and technological shift and innovation that is affecting not only production and trade, but also labour relations, where more human labour is being replaced than more is being created in software technology. Hence, inorder to have the system working , people must still have purchasing power to consume and purchase goods and that cannot happen if persons are unemployed and also if living in poverty. Hence I believe this bill should be passed in this house. |

Message | Dear speaker I do not believe you understand the stipulations of the current guaranteed minimum income. The current stipulations say that everyone have reasonable but not high standard of living the ones your proposing are worse than the ones already in place. |
