| Ladies and gentlemen of congress, i come before you today in person by the graces of my esteemed uncle, Lord Berengar to press my claim to the imperial throne and justify it's restoration to you. My name is Rudolph Cornelius Alexander of Hohenfels, my father was Frederick of Hohenfels and my mother is princess Cecillia of Adlerberg, elder sister to our late emperor and my uncle William. When i grew up i spent many summers with my uncle the emperor in the imperial palace, and an equal amount of winters and springs in my ancestral lands in Geharon. I know this land like the back of my hand and i loved my uncle with all of my heart. But now he is dead. The Emperor lies in a cold grave and i am his chosen heir! These halls were once filled with the young and bright, the honorable and just! But now, a stink fills this place, the stink of corruption and self service. Now there are still men within these halls, but these are not the same men my ancestors were proud to call their friends but cowards and thieves! Thieves that would steal TEN THOUSAND YEARS of Luthori history and discard it for profit. But all is not lost, for the royal line continues in me and my sons, and i will not rest until the stench of death that fills these halls is no more! Even now backroom dealings and sinister plots seek to rid the Luthori peoples of their history and to rob them of their pride. That is why i, Alexander Hohenfels will not relinquish my claim to the throne, not for petty personal gain like these husks of men that roam your halls of government, but for love, LOVE for my people and their self worth and for the glory of god! The royal family puts their faith in The League of Nobles, true bulwarks of the holy Luthori church and it's values. I truly hope that i can be proven wrong by the outcome of this vote, if not i will return next year, and the years after it until The Empire Rises Again! LONG LIVE THE EMPEROR!
