| We hereby lay forward a plan to alter the constitution of Kalopia to better suit the true people of Kalopia. This bill removes Majatran influence from key titles in Kalopian culture. Whilst not all names are altered in this bill, further changes shall be made in the future. We also see the creation of the role of President and the abandonment of the Augustan Empire, which we will strike down within another bill. Following the passing of these two changes to the constitution, we shall call early elections. | Message | Mr Speaker, It is acutely worrying that the Opposition have refused to support necessary change to these constitutional matters. Whilst it makes no difference, I would urge them to alter their vote. The Kalopi-Siphinan (by which term I include Istochniaks, who also reside primarily within the region of Siphina) people are the people of Kalopia and shall therefore be treated as such. This means removing foreign influence from our titles and anthems - most notably Majatran. Under government plans, I also hereby declare the alteration in the name change void. We shall introduce a new bill that shall seek to alter the name to the Republic of Kalopi-Siphina, to better understand our culture and position in Terra.
