However, neither of the flags represent our history.

We support the traditional Wolf banner (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/particracy/images/5/51/Solentia_flag.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150517001014) though the later banner (https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/particracy/images/f/fb/Solentia_new.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150517001216) would work for us as well."

MessageOOC: I stuck with this flag because it was what the SUN and I agreed on during the founding of the SSR.

Message"Mr. Speaker,

I rise today to offer my support for this bill. It is necessary for us to reclaim our culture as Solentians. I encourage my colleagues to do the same."

Senator Michael Davis

(OOC: What was the Solentia's original culture? Also, with enough support we can establish a cultural protocol.)

Message(OOC: Majority was 'South Majatran' which I believe is like English with middle-eastern influences. There was also an important Istalian i.e. Italian majority. Zanz on the forums/discord should know more about it)

MessageOOC: Hi, if I can intervene, some months ago me and Polites committed ourself to organize and harmonize the history of the eastern majatran nations, namely Kalopia, Solentia, Kafuristan and Istalia.

Kalopia, Kafuristan and Istalia didn't generate too much problems, also because generally in all these 3 countries, or thanks to Cultural Protocols or thanks to coherent continuously RP, the ethnicity and the history were already well established, so, with Polites we have just adapt the history of these countries to the new pre-modern era history.
For Solentia this was strongly more hard to do.
In fact, the previosu history of Solentia was extremely confused and with no ties with the rest of the area events.
Also the ethnicities, peoples and so on were totally different from the general mejatran background.
For this reason in the end, Polites and me decided to rewrite the Solentian history (but adapting the internal events with the international background and maybe using some new names).
However, given the fact that in Solentia, since long time, has used a more anglosaxon background, in some wikia pages I justified this due the influence of the extremely totalitarian regimes which governed solentia for some time thousands years ago (Nuncirism: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Nuncirism the archonic regime: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Archonic_Solentia_Party and the Pan-Terran ): they influenzed so much the Solentian culture trying to eradicate any form of ethnic or linguistic features, also introducing the luthorian, influenced by the at the time artanian influence on this part of Majatra, as means to improve their regimes and enforce their "uthopian" state.

However, to be brief: Solentia roots are the Kalopian colopian colonizations which incorporate the previous indigenous civilizations, Qedarite influence from the north and then majatran influence after the Ahmadi Caliphate and the spread of the Majatrans from Kafuristan and Badara.
Solentian it was the core territory of the Quanzar Empire, which capital was the then Metapontum.

I hope this could be useful for you

MessageOOC: Thanks a lot Axxell! So basically the majority (is the term "South Majatran" still in use?) are anglified greeks with middle eastern influences..

I recall the good old days of the Gilde and the Wolfpack - the former had a strong Istalian touch ("Dodge" etc.) so that should play a part too methinks.
