Bill: Management of Forest Land

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Libertarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4299

Description[?]:

Forest land is part of our natural resources, with the ones we must peacefully coexist. As a party, we propose that the government has the freedom the decide whether they would like to manage forest land itself or to contract private agencies to do so.

Either way this is a middle ground on the previous bill regarding this issue where we proposed all forest land was government managed.

MessageLike I previously stated in our other piece of legislation, we must protect out forests and we cannot allow privates to fully manage them. For this reason we believe local governments should be given the power to set their own forest management agencies if they wish to, but also giving freedom to hire private companies to execute such labors. Both options are government-regulated and ensure the protection of our environment and it is always good to keep options open.
