Description[?]:

Party Members,

In a recent debate, Herr Sholz made it clear that our actions were not appropriate for promoting unity. He warned of a constitutional crisis that he would be forced to bring about if we did not change our ways

*** jeers and angry rumblings from the Royalist faction benches. ***

He is, of course, right - we cannot have dissension in the ranks!

So, I will make it clear to him and everyone gathered here that my vision is to have a unified party. Fundamentally because this is the prime requisite for a unified state - one where the Hulstrian culture is absolutely paramount and the Dundorfian language is used by all. Only with the party acting as one and these factors in place can we move towards fulfilling our dream of a Greater Hulstria and a return to dominance on Dovani.

Therefore, I intend to introduce a series of law aimed at unifying our nation in all areas - bringing us together as one.

I shall start with religion:

Article 1 - We intend to strictly restrict which non-state religions may promote or advertise themselves in this nation - this will allow the State Religion (Confessional Luthoranism) to flourish further and attract more followers. Within a generation or two we hope to be in a position where the vast majority of people are not only Hosian but strictly adhere to the religion of state.

Article 2 - We intend to stop foreign missionaries who are not affiliated to the state religion from entering the country. This will help to stop the spread of the many oriental and inferior religions that some of our neighbour nations follow and could further dilute our desire for a unified state religion.

Party Members, let me re-iterate: this is a step towards unity. It is the kind of grand initiative we need to ensure our grand ambitions. Greater Hulstria is in our sights!

Rechskanzler Leopold Nimitz

Herr Reichkanzler, what an excellent plan! While we're at it, there is nothing more unifying and conducive to our Hosian national culture than to have all sermons written by your good self as well.
