Message | We must allow private companies to provide internet to all citizens. In this way we can ensure everyone has access to such service without actually interfering in it. There are aspects in which the government shouldn't meddle. This is one of such aspects. Margaret Delossantos Deputy Chair Representative from Norwalk |
Date | 10:28:08, December 02, 2017 CET | From | Social Liberal Party | To | Debating the Internet Provision Amendment |
Message | Ms. Delossantos is aware that private companies are already allowed to provide internet to all citizens, isn't she? The goal of LiPIP (Likatonian Public Internet Provider) is just to enforce a fair pricing of such basic service as the internet by driving the prices (and thus those of the competition) below reasonable boundaries. Message | I am aware of the service provided by private companies, but the LiPIP is starting to monopolize the entire market and so we must limit it to price regulation only. Margaret Delossantos Deputy Chair Representative from Norwalk |
