| Late last year the Ministry of State Security carried out a successful mission to extract the surviving Ryeo Family from Dankuk. Seizing on the political disruptions caused by the newly re-empowered democracy movement, the MSS was able to avoid attention from government agents aligned with dictatorship. Since November 4312, the Ryeos have resided in refuge, yet again, at the Yincheng Mountain Retreat. While the Dranian Republican Government has extended full rights and protections to the Ryeos as private citizens, we believe there remains a significant threat from the National Conservative Party and those aligned with the Taeyang. Nonetheless, at this time we can at least say the Ryeo have been successfully extracted from Dankuk. Additionally, with the information obtained from the family, we know now that Emperor Choesun V did pass away due to a heart attack. The Emperor could've survived but due to the government's ongoing manhunt for the family he was not able to receive treatment. From this point forward all operations in Dankuk will focus on intelligence gathering relating to the NCP. | Message | Mr. Speaker, The Lotus Party would like to extend our sincere congratulations to the men and women in the Ministry of State Security for their professionalism and success in this most recent mission. We would also like to extend our admiration and gratitude to the Minister of Defence for the transparency and integrity he has displayed on this file. Today we think of a young boy, the son of Princess Kyunghee and Sun Luhan, who will now be able to grow up surrounded by the love of his maternal relatives. So long as the New Katsuran Front and National Conservative Party are poised to be a position of power, and Taeyang-saekki is illegitimately sitting on the Throne of Dankuk, we must ensure that this family is protected. As such, we support the government's decision to once again grant the Ryeo's usage of the Yincheng Mountain Retreat. This news is bittersweet, as we confirm what has long been assumed: that Emperor Choesun V is dead. Now, his Majesty resides alongside his illustrious ancestors in heaven. We believe that the NCP and NKF are guilty in the premature and avoidable death of the Emperor. It is our steadfast position that all NCP and NKF legislators, and indeed the very few remaining Taeyang-saekki supporters, have blood on their hands. We, within our capacity as third-party, have also reached out to the pro-democratic government in Dankuk and expressed our heartfelt desire to turn a new leaf with regard to our bilateral relationship.
