MessageMr. Speaker,

To feel that you were born with the wrong gender must be an emotional hell for those affected by this. Why would any politician in their right mind try to legislate to permanently condemn people to such suffering? This would be disastrous and it is completely inhumane. Who would it benefit? Apart from, of course, the fringe right-wing voters that the RCP are trying to woo over.

MessageMr Speaker,

The idea one can be born in the wrong body is ridiculous, your born in the body your given and your gender is defined by those organs of said body, not your personal feelings.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Disgusting comments made by the RCP and an insult to people affected by this. Go out of the parliamentary bubble and speak to people facing this issue and see how they feel about it and your party's plans to deny them treatment. Gender reassignment affects nobody but the individual concerned - people should be able to pursue this surgery if that's what they want.
