Bill: OOC: General Game Etiquette Rules for Kalistan

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progress Party—The Greens

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 4446

Description[?]:

Refrain from posting enormous bills with a long list of unrelated items, unless you know for a fact such a bill will pass due to prior agreements with other parties.

Do not spam the same bill over and over and over again just because it can’t get passed. It’s reasonable to try a bill that previously failed again on occasion as the legislative composition changes over time, but spamming the same bill endlessly should be avoided.

If there is a sticky RP law that was passed by the legislature, respect it, it is considered a law.

MessageOOC: It’s really sad that I feel the need to bring this up considering this is just common sense and I’m pretty sure also just the game’s rules, but it has become clear that a certain player needs a reminder

Any other suggestions?

MessageHow would we enforce this? The NUP is breaking these rules as we speak.

MessageI... honestly have no idea. It would be up to the moderators to enforce it I suppose and I’m not sure if they actually would.

MessageI’m going to go ahead and put this to a vote again, it might come in handy for any new players if they need reminders of general etiquette in the future.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "The experience of ages has shown that a man who works on the land is purer, nobler, higher, and more moral... Agriculture should be at the basis of everything." - Mikuláš Gogolský, former Deltarian writer
