| First time buyers are facing a huge problem with buying a home. This is down to a huge reduction in homes being built, in fact last year just 509 homes were built, this is nothing compared to the 1 million young people needing a home. So we propose to build 300,000 homes a year until 4345. This should provide enough living space for these people and more in the next decade. We will subsidise construction companies and give them substantial tax cuts. This will allow the companies to charge buyers a fair price whilst still making a profit. Those building the homes will be taken only from the contractors themselves and an appeal sent out in jobcentres. |
