Date | 17:17:56, January 28, 2018 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Nationalisation of Defence Industry Act 4339 |

Date | 20:09:22, January 28, 2018 CET | From | Communist Party | To | Debating the Nationalisation of Defence Industry Act 4339 |
Message | The state will also be able to produce military equipment for much less as there would be no need to hike prices for profit. We will aim to maintain the current CEO's and management in order to ensure we are getting the best of the private sector knowledge and public sector ethos. |
Date | 15:17:47, January 29, 2018 CET | From | National Republican Party | To | Debating the Nationalisation of Defence Industry Act 4339 |
Message | Giving the government control over the defense industry will cause more bureaucracy. When there is more bureaucracy there is a less efficient use of resources. We also need defense industries to be privately owned so they will be forced by the market to produce better equipment or they will loss business to a rival company. |
Date | 15:34:08, January 29, 2018 CET | From | Labour Party | To | Debating the Nationalisation of Defence Industry Act 4339 |
Message | We promise that these companies will be run as they are now. It's just that instead of these profits going into the pockets of the 1%, the profits will be used to cut taxes on the working and middle-class |
Date | 15:41:04, January 29, 2018 CET | From | Communist Party | To | Debating the Nationalisation of Defence Industry Act 4339 |
Message | Market forces do not improve anything. It's a complete myth to suggest it. Research is already funded by the taxpayer and the government will still have incentives to improve tech and equipment as we can sell to foreign governments in the future. Free markets are good at delivering some things, but defence industries aren't one. |
