Message | Herr Speaker, We quite simply object to this. We are not believers in a state religion, voluntary or not, especially when it involves taxing the people, where it is taken out of income tax or not. Otto Jager-Wu State Chancellor |

Message | Herr Speaker, Objecting to the State faith because it has tax attached to it seems strange. This tax is voluntary and is only for voluntarily registered members of the VBRD and it says so in the Act's bylaws. Similarly, it is a 1.5% tax; that will not make or break anyone. Likewise, what is the matter with a voluntary State Religion? It is voluntary and of no burden to anyone but the faithful. Dr. Clara Augusta Kirsch, Dr.B |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This is another attempt to introducing creeping theocracy into Dorvik. The Dorvish people will not stand for it. Religious is the tool of capitalists and the opium of the masses. Klaus Erdmann (General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party) |

Message | Her Speaker, Metz spoke of a "opium" as in how it was being used by those in power, not in the practice of religion itself. So glad we "uneducated" farmers could school the "super-smart" Commies. This in no way, shape, or form is such a practice. No one will be silenced or controlled through a State church: it is a statement of who we are. Dr. Clara Augusta Kirsch, Dr.B |
