Bill: Constitutional Safety Act 4351

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4352

Description[?]:

Be it enacted by the Empress's most Excellent Majesty, by the advice of her most loyal advisers, in this present Diet assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Republican parties are often communist or crypto-communist in their ideology. Others, as can be seen with the Jamessonite so-called "Traditional Republicans", support a republic not out of genuine conviction, but out of personal greed for power and nepotism. It is time we ensure that this threat to the Luthorian people is neutralised.

1. Parties supporting a republic / republicanism shall be banned.

2. Parties that support failed bills to remove a rightful monarch from power shall be banned.

(OOC: In other words - republican parties are banned, and if a party tries to remove the monarchy in a bill but fails it will be banned.)

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.

Random quote: "The difference between a republic and a people's republic is a lot like the difference between a jacket and a straightjacket." - Ronald Reagan
