Bill: Pollution bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kalistan National Front
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 4354
Description[?]:
Pollution is getting to bad to quickly in city centres. In fact the majority of pollution in Kalistan comes from Ananto itself. This is a horrific fact and pollution is clearly getting out of control so we must slow it down and bring it down. Article one: Diesel powered vehicles will be entirely fazed out by 4400. Article two: Cars stuck in busy city traffic for longer than five minutes must turn off their engines or face a fine. Article three: No more diesel cars may be assembled in Kalistan unless they are to be immediatley shipped out after construction. Article four: Drivers must not leave their engines on. More coming later. |

Message | Doesn't this seem counterproductive to your Laissez Faire ideology? Not that I'm disagreeing with this (entirely). |

Message | Not at all we believe in common sense policies and a strong economy as well. Why can’t we have both? This wouldn’t damage the nation at all or her fabulous economy. This does not contradict our capitalist ideals at all. You need a living workforce after all. |

Message | Plus, doesn’t your policies lead to a contradiction within your parties very name itself? Look, we mean no disrespect but don’t you need to have conservative views to be titled the conservative party? |

Message | We've been voting against overly capitalist bills. Can you point out anything conservative we've voted against? And how wouldn't this affect the economy? We'd eventually be banning an entire sector of the economy, and that does seem to contradict capitalism. |

Message | It literally bans diesel vehicles from being sold in Kalistqn, how does that not harm the economy? |

Message | It saves lives, overall and capitalism will play its part in filling the gap left behind by the killer that is diesel. You cannot deny that. And one of the primary values of conservatism is the free market so you have indeed voted against conservative bills. |

Message | Well I guess we're not entirely conservative. We prefer a fair, functioning market over a lawless wasteland. |

Message | Just to make it clear, we don't disagree with the entire bill, it's just a3. We do believe the environment should be protected, but we shouldn't harm the economy in the process. |

Message | How is this lawless? We’re proposing more laws as we speak! Get a grip NCP and use some better arguments! |

Message | Why are you against it? |
Date | 01:00:27, February 25, 2018 CET | From | National Conservative Party | To | Debating the Pollution bill |
Message | Again, it outright BANS a part of the economy. And no, I didn't call this bill lawless, I called an entirely free market lawless. |

Message | Maybe, instead of me "getting a grip", how about you improve your reading skills, because you either ignore, misinterpret, or take out of context every word I make. |

Random quote: "John Burroughs has stated that experimental study of animals in captivity is absolutely useless. Their character, their habits, their appetites undergo a complete transformation when torn from their soil in field and forest. With human nature caged in a narrow space, whipped daily into submission, how can we speak of its potentialities?" - Emma Goldman |
