Description[?]:
Recognizing that under current law there doesn't exist a salary cap within Kalistan, and seeing as a salary cap would help make wages more fair and cut down on income inequality, this bill would have the national government impose a fair salary cap on all workers preventing CEO's and the like from getting paid unfairly compared to their workers. |

Message | We don't see why the LURK and NCP are so against this. Why do CEO'S and the like deserve such fat paychecks while the rest of Kalistan is barely scraping by? What exactly is the problem here? |

Message | The problem here is that this is an arbitrary and unnecessary distortion of the free market. It will heavily deincentivize competition, and lead to companies forming de facto enclaves and local monopolies; after all, there's nothing in it for the executives beyond a certain point. Furthermore, that money won't reach the incomes of workers, but will simply stay within companies and not be subject to income tax. Companies will naturally find ways for subject it to less tax through loopholes. This will lead to a lower federal budget, and will make it harder to provide welfare, which actually does help the lower classes. The KWP needs to learn a lesson; punishing the rich will not always enhance the lives of the poor. It will more often than not just lead to both groups having it worse off. |

Message | What you're saying doesn't make any sense. This bill literally only applies to the slimmest portion of the current labor market. It has nothing to do with competitions, or monopolies, it's about making sure that the richest CEO's aren't getting overly paid for nothing. In reality, this bill doesn't do much at all, it's mostly symbolic. |

Message | If it's so symbolic, then what's the purpose in the first place? And if anything, this symbolizing the wrong thing; that the government wants to limit your success. |
