| Message | We would encourage parties to vote against this proposal. Our current flag fully represents our country and is a symbol of our nation. The proposed flag is simply not aesthetically pleasing, and the colours seem more oppressive than liberating. Red is commonly associated with socialism and communism, and black with a dark history. | Message | We would encourage parties to vote in favour of a change of pace which if adopted will go on to symbolize the dawn of a new golden era with which individual rights and economic freedom are a light unto the nations of Terra. the arguments being utilized are those attempting to link the symbolism of said flag with the extremely flawed ideologies of Socialism and Communism alongside a troubled past. we therefore find it incredibly weird that a nation as geared towards authoritarianism as Dorvik would reject such a symbol of Liberty as the one being purposed.
