MessageThis is a better way to ensure that if war breaks involving our nation, usage of nuclear weaponry is less likely to cause extreme damage to the human species as a whole.

MessageWhy would we ever pass this bill? It allows the Kalistani military and the president to attack foreign countries whenever the hell we want. And no, don't say that the military is going to stop the president, this shouldn't be their responsibility. We don't see why the LURK feels the need to ratchet Kalistani militarism up a few more notches for no good reason at all.

MessageKWP, the purpose of this bill is so that in the case that war does break out, we're at less of a risk of threatening the human species as a whole. By just striking non-civilian targets, we can save millions of lives.

Also, the President is the commander in chief, and therefore an integral part of the military, so they too would be subject to this.

MessageLURK, that might be the intention of this bill, but the language means that legally the government can now launch nuclear attacks on non-civilian targets whenever they want. I don't trust the president and ruling parties going into the future not to try to launch an unprovoked nuclear attack against some other country. The current system is fine and works only as a defense, which is what my party sees the purpose of nuclear weapons as being.
