Bill: Religious Taxation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Beluzian Defense and Federalist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2197
Description[?]:
Religious institutions are not companies, and for taxation purposes they should not be treated as such. We propose that any religion that has over 10,000 members should be “recognized” by the government and should be untaxed. Religious organizations do not use their money for personal profit, but rather use it in the community. Churches run after school activities and run education programs that improve Beluzia as a whole. We should give these organizations a break. |
