| 1. Heralding a revisionist perception of the Artanian Union. As our nation moves forwards towards its potential revival, we must recognise the importance of collectivism and its potential to bolstering the standing of our nation and those around us through mutual interaction and collective decision-making. The core issue behind the Artanian Union comes in the form of its "out-dated" structures and systems. We believe that through negotiations and listening to concerns and needs of the community, the necessary reforms to the Artanian Union can be made. 2. Coming to a closer union with former colonial possessions. It is no secret, that at its height the Holy Luthori Empire was an expansive nation with several colonial possessions. Our nation must recognise the potential of re-engagement with the nations of our informed "former empire". Nations such as Hutori, Jakania, Mordusia and various other nations hold potential in enabling our nation to push ourselves towards becoming more open to the idea of a collective thought. Thus we must champion a commonwealth between the Holy Luthori Empire and the aforementioned nations. 3. Engaging with the wider international community. The purpose of diplomacy is to strengthen the state, nation, or organisation it serves in relation to others by advancing the interests in its charge. To this end, diplomatic activity endeavours to maximise a group’s advantages without the risk and expense of using force and preferably without causing resentment. It habitually, but not invariably, strives to preserve peace; diplomacy is strongly inclined toward negotiation to achieve agreements and resolve issues between states. Apart from this, it enables states to become closer to each other regardless of geographical distance. 4. Increased involvement in international supranational organisations. This issue has been something which has been subject to great debate. The World Congress, the world's single supranational organisation is a front for individuals to bring issues and concerns to the international community. Apart from this, it is forum by which individuals can share collective ideas and make decisions based on collective negotiations and thinking. Our nation's increased involvement in this could allow for us to become more involved in international affairs and potentially secure our place on the global scale. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker I would like to agree with the New Conservative Party in the fact that diplomacy is important. I would like to ask for ideas from the New Conservative Party and other parties on what ideas they have about a updated Artanian Union as I would be interested in updated parts of it. Also we should look at the Artanian Economic Community (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=4023) as well as we are the only country that is apart of it. We could update it or leave it as is and ask for other Artanian countries to join in. We would also credit the efforts of Foreign minister Prince Aldred to bring Luthori back into the international stage. He had Luthori join 11 treaties including numerous treaties of friendships, and started to meet with nations in Artania including Beluzia (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=68&start=750#p130159). I would like to say that we are committed to taking Prince Aldred´s efforts and accomplishments and take it to the next level by meeting with more nations (Cildania is one) and opening up the door for more diplomacy. One thing is we are interested in getting more Artania allies. Our relations with Dorvik is being questioned currently and getting a new Artania ally or two along with Dorvik or not would be in our interests. Pertaning to the World Congress, Prince Aldred had attempted to try and possibly grab Security Council A and the mission was semi successful grabbing three votes and we are thinking of possibly starting another campaign to get more votes for the seat. As for a Commonwealth, we are currently in a Union with Hutori and looking at our history, we have been apart of the House of Rothingren-Traugott (http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/House_of_Rothingren-Traugott) for centuries up to this day. There are very few nations (Us and Hutori) in it left and we would be interested in expanding our influence through getting more nations to rejoin the House of Rothingren-Traugott with Luthori. We will continue to look at options in the form of suggestions, ideas, or opportunities that come up. I am open to anything the New Conservative Party or any other parties suggest.
