Message | I support the right to strike, but by allowing sympathy strikes, it gives trade unions the ability to completely shut down an industry. By allowing closely related trade unions to strike, you would give unions the ability to shut down any major industry, transportation, or our entire health care network. It doesn’t make sense. |

Message | Health care and transportation are regarded as vital industries, and are thus currently unable to go on strike anyways. |

Message | You bring up a very good point. However, sympathy strikes are impossible battles. How would you feel if your corporation had to shut down because of a labor dispute in a related industry? If your in a strikeable industry, and you want to strike fine. But you should only have the right to strike for yourself, not for others. |

Message | Most union workers would be happy to support strikers, because it can give them additional leverage when their negotiations come around. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
