MessageMr Speaker,

Taking more money from companies is not going to save the economy. We need a stronger market and a larger private sector, not exorbant tax rates on the currently small private sector. The Royalist Party will not support this bill.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The New Liberals have decided to wait and see what happens with the BUDGET act before committing one way or another on this bill. We hope our partners in the USPH understand, and look forward to working with them in the governing coalition on other matters.

MessageMr. Speaker,

While the Green Left Party agree with the notion of having corporations bear significant cost to the community which allows them to be successful, this big a jump in tax will destabilise markets and cut swathes through employment. We would vote for a staged corporate tax of no more than 2pp/annum toward a 33% cap.
