Bill: Industrial Pollution
Details
Submitted by[?]: Ultamist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2198
Description[?]:
This is to coincide with the bill proposed by the IFP. The lowered tax rate on corporations will allow them to sock out the small amount of money to move up to this next step. The fact that we've had moderate restrictions for several decades would suggest that the jump up would be quite minimal, that is, if the company was obeying the Pollution laws before hand. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: The government enforces moderate pollution restrictions.
Current: The government enforces highly restrictive industrial pollution standards.
Proposed: The government enforces highly restrictive industrial pollution standards.

Message | At first glance this bill looks promising. However, will the stricter laws inhibit production? Some pollution is necessary for a productive factory. I will reserve judgement until I hear of the repercussions of this bill. |

Message | It is somewhat linear thinking, but if pollution keeps on going the way it is going now, there will be no climate to support any form of economy anymore. We support. |

Message | Ah ha. I was wondering if anyone would say that. It is true that in the long run production does us no good if the environment is junk. We support. |
