Bill: Fluctuation of the National Currency Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Striving for Gaduridos [PAG]

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 4393

Description[?]:

In order to protect our economy and our national currency, we should take our responsibility as a government and keep an eye on the fluctuation of the national currency. At the moment the government does not intervene at all, but Striving for Gaduridos believes that we should intervene when necessary. When the currency starts to fluctuate too much, we can intervene in order to save our economy and therefore save our citizens from poverty. Therefore, Striving for Gaduridos proposes the following:

CURRENT: The exchange rate of the national currency is allowed to float, and the government does not intervene at all.
PROPOSED: The exchange rate of the national currency is allowed to float, but the government is permitted to intervene when necessary.

Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn
