Message | Monika Davidson, Leader of the Progressive Republican Party "Mr. Speaker, this legislation is consistent with the negotiations between the Imperial Family and the Justice Ministry. While it is not my ideal outcome, a peaceful resolution which ends in the abdication of the Empress of any claim over Talmoria is an acceptable one. I am glad to direct my caucus to vote in favor." |

Message | Olufemi Boro, General Secretary of the ATCS and Great Farin of Talmoria: **Boro looks far more bowed than usual as he takes the rostrum** "It is... agreed that the Imperial family shall be allowed to live out their days in Talmoria, provided they abide by the terms of this resolution. The membership ballot of the All Talmorian Congress of Socialists has evinced their support for this compromise and as their representative... I must accede." |

Message | Alex Ekwueme, Minister of Justice. Mr. Speaker, We may not like the results of our discussions with the Imperial family, but we live in a world of realities. Rather than storming the gates with soldiers who are no doubt happy to return from a fruitless war of conquest, we have chosen a peaceful path that preserves our reputation, that provides strength to the leadership of the Republic, and that makes us a stronger nation. I'm proud to propose- and endorse- this resolution. |
