Message | Babtunde Giwa, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Mr. Speaker, I know there are other proposals before this body with the supposed aim of increasing investment and business opportunity, but I would like to note with pleasure that of all the things that we think impact business growth, the access to transport and infrastructure, particularly in underserved communities, has a massive role to play here- and one that is far more proven. First there is the direct benefits in contracting with local firms - firms that will be hiring Talmorians that are willing to and happy to work. And as our networks serve people and communities in need, they'll bring new workers and new business opportunities to our cities- and new goods and services to those towns and villages that have been just too unpopular for private train service or private power service. With the government acting in this space we can access communities that have left behind and bring real prosperity to the people of Talmoria. |

Message | Sareen Bakhtahaveda, Minister for Defence: "This must be a defense priority. Our infrastructure represents the strength of our nation. We must have national, not just local, investment in the energy and industrial development of this country. To rely on the private sector for these necessary services is to expose your neck to a vampire - foolish. We back this legislation." |
