Description[?]:
Mr. President, Smoking causes harm to the body of our citizens. Many citizens don't want to eat or drink in an establishment were smoking is allowed. People who smoke on the other hand want to do so, and feel threatened by the increasing debate and restrictions. Currently, in our nation, smoking laws are formed by regional governments. This leads to the absurd situation that a person in city A can smoke outside, whilst that same person can't do so in city B. We would like to make one nation-wide Law concerning smoking: the Smoking Bill. Therefore we propose: CURRENT: smoking regulations are to be determined by local governments PROPOSAL: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in places of employment, with the exception of places that primarily serve liquor |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
