Message	As national anthems get, ours is pretty cool. Especially when put up against such WONDERFUL specimens as the Actual German National Anthem, "God Save the Queen/King", 'The Star Spangeled Banner", and so on and so forth.

Message	Err, nooo. See, "God Save The Queen" is actually pretty good. And it's in the lingua franca of the country, whereas your "Es braust ein wuf" is not only in German, which few people here speak, I suspect, but also it sounds like an advert for dog food.

Message	The name of the song is Die Wacht am Rhein, =P. And God Save The Queen is really, really bad. I mean, unlike other nations national anthems, it's all about the powerless figurehead of the country, instead of the country itself. If that's not a personality cult, I don't know what is.

Message	The Queen is one the best national anthems by far. Instead of singing about how pretty our flag is (Star Spangled Banner) or making a load of noise (most foreign anthems) - our national anthem orders God, who works for us (the Bible is in English, remember, and Jesus's mates were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Thomas, Matthew, Simon, etc; the only foreign sounding one being Judas), to save our Queen. The following versus go to on specify that she needs help suppressing the Scots and all sorts of other things. My only problem with it is that the English teams use it when playing against other subjects of Her Majesty. I believe they should use Jerusalem (as it mentions England) and The Queen should be retained for Union/Commonwealth use.

Message	I think the Polish National Anthem and the Russian are the best. Germanies is meh, since the allies ruined it (they turned it from something awesome and nationalistic into something like "we don't like invading poland, we don't like invading france, we don't like invading czechslovakia, we don't like invading belgium, we don't like invading russia, we don't like invading the netherlands, and we like peace"). God Save the Queen is a personality cult song. The Star Spangeled Banner just sucks, and "O Canada" doesn't really instill alot of nationalistic pride.

Message	I thank the PNF for not including the Australian national anthem in their list of RL national anthems that suck. : ) What other national anthem can be sung to the tune of such songs as the Gilligan's Island theme tune, and 'Working Class Man' by Jimmy Barnes.
