Description[?]:
The Stop Tampering with Our Population Act (or S.T.O.P. Act) is a simple bill by the Liberal Party that sees the current government interference in people’s private lives by encouraging people to have multiple children and wants this practice to end. People should be free to make their own choices concerning the amount of their offspring and our population is sufficiently large enough to scrap this current government practice. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, for the record: the government leaves it up to the people to decide how many children they want. The government does not regulate population growth in any way. The government does not force anyone to have a certain amount of children. The government does not even reward those who choose to have many children, nor does it punish those who choose to have a small family. The only thing the government actually does is advertising. Citizens know the stance of the government and they have the free right to do with it whatever they want. LNC has no idea what LP means by 'this current government practice'. Also, we would like to know where LP has found the guts to openly declare that our population is large enough. We are obviously against this proposal. Silke Devis MP for LNC |

Message | Mr Speaker, We assume that no advertising should be made, the way we look at it, people don't need the advertising. Bearing children is a natural proces. Most people *chuckles* know how the basic of procreation works. We don't need to actively advertise such behaviour! The only thing we need is a good prescribed sex-ed for our education. Such that, the people that engage in sexual behaviour know the risks and protect themselves according their needs |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We partially agree with PLP. Might I add that LNC has always tried to hold the Department of Education and that, when we did, we chose to educate our citizens and especially our youngsters about sexual intercourse. Unfortunately, it has been a while since we held that specific office, but I'm sure that the current Minister of Education would be delighted to enlighten us with the current procedure concerning sexual education of the public. Message | Mr. Speaker, The Ecosocialist Party, for once, supports the proposal of the LP. Not only is population growth unnecessary, it is also harmful for the planet and our climate when the world population grows more. We will vote in favour of this bill. Message | Mr. Speaker, The LLP is a great supporter of the current stance the government takes. Growth of the population is vital for the survival of our nation. The LLP wishes that the government would take a more active stance instead of a more passive one. We will vote against. Gideon Patton, Spokesperson, Health and Social Services, LLP |

Message | Mr. Speaker, our population needs to grow. If we want to maintain our current economical status, we need new forces, we need young people. Let's not forget to invest in education and agriculture in the meanwhile. Those who are against this resolution: keep in mind that our party has a great deal of Gorkyists, which believe in making a decision on their own when to end their lives. Many Gorkyist euthanise themselves once they feel they are no longer useful to the State or when they feel thet are a burden more than a use. Andreij Gorky LNC Representative |
