Bill: Foreign Investors Act - 4407

Details

Submitted by[?]: Zhtál-Merlkai Tjarziprta

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4407

Description[?]:

Mr Speaker,

We propose the following bill which would allow for foreign companies to more easily invest in private, national companies.

However, we stipulate that sectors that are deemed to be linked to national security, e.g. the defence industry, are exempt from this ruling and foreign investors may not obtain a majority share in them unless government approval is given.

MessageI prefer, however, that the government retain control over the investment process, and even expanded it not only for the approval of majority shares, but also for minority ones, it is not good for the economy what you propose.
