MessageMr Speaker,

This bill is vital for the restrictions on investment, advertising and jobs to be lifted.

MessageMr Speaker,

With the amount of time that this diet as pushed back against the White Rose regarding monopolies, one could almost assume they have a hidden agenda or are being paid to allow them once more.

MessageMr Speaker,

We have no personal interest, just 191 years of policy and a mandate to try enact it.

MessageMr Speaker,
I despair, I really do. This bill will be a disaster for our country. The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry recently claimed that workers aren't agitating for strikes, and yet here is his fellow party member trying to actively increase unemployment, by article 2, all whilst allowing prices to increase as monopolies form and competition dies. My contention is that the Chancellor thinks the Secretary of State is a leadership contender and wishes to discredit him for his own personal gain, not that his big business paymasters will allow him to be short of personal gain

MessageMr Speaker,

There is no leadership contest to worry about, the White Rose is lead by the Duke and the Marquis.

Unrestricted advertising is good for the free market and choice. Unregulated monopolies existed before without mass collapse of the market and they will again, bringing job security and lower production costs. As for article 2, it is only pertinent in which a business fails, and no business is too big to fail. We will support those effected, but not protect everyone from a free market capitalist economy.

This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect
