MessageMr. Speaker,

What do the federalists have against the poor? Why do they want to take away this necessary surgery from our poorest citizens?

MessageMr. Speaker,

We believe that the government has no business in the private lives of citizens. Gender reassignment is the choice of each individual and therefore the government should not subsidize it, promote it nor should it condemn it. We advocate for a hands off approach. Now the NLP engages in logically questionable tactics, first they mix a little bit of ad hominem & red herring together and say "What about the Poor?!?" What about them? They are free to make their own choices and we'll support them in providing the bare essentials of which gender reassignment is not. Next they beg the question by referring to gender reassignment as a necessary surgery. Who say it's necessary? Why is it necessary? Please we ask the NLP come read to defend their position, not bring useless fear-mongering and party rhetoric.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Scientians support the aspect of funding research into gender dysphoria and how we can help those who suffer from it. However, the Scientians will vote against this bill as we support state funding of gender reassignment surgeries.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We'd like to ask of Ambassador Lowell as to why they think the state should continue to fund this type of surgery?

MessageMr. Speaker,

We believe the state should be at the forefront of funding experimental surgeries. We regard gender reassignment surgery as beneficial to the individual when they are properly informed and consent to the risks involved. We agree that further research should be conducted in the treatment of gender dysphoria.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We agree that we should be at the forefront of medical research but, we don't currently know that the side effects are or what the most effect treatment method is. We simply suggest that we withhold government funding from this type of procedure until further research can determine if it is the best course of action or not. Once the research is in we do wish to revisit the issue.
