| Message | Mr speaker, As the Honourable gentleman would know if he bothered to try, I don't know, reading some books or something, a small budget surplus is the absolute ideal, but a small deficit is far better than a large surplus, as a large surplus means taxes, which are withdrawals from the circular flow, would outnumber significantly the injections through Government spending. The surplus was large, hence we moved a budget, lest he forget. Once the people reject the left at the election in September, we will fix income tax and the budget.
