| Hey guys! When I used to be active in Luthori we had a few responsibilities for the cabinet that I think we should introduce once again, so tell me if you're open to any of these suggestions! PROPOSALS TO BE VOTED ON / CONSIDERED 1) The government (cabinet, whoever controls the Ministry of Finance), is responsible for proposing a budget (can include changes to taxation as well) at some point during the government's term/tenure. 2) If the government fails to propose this, then early elections shall be called a year prior to when the election date would have been. 3) If any party in government votes against the budget, the government falls and an early election is called. 4) The opposition is responsible for asking questions about the budget in debate while raising additional concerns with the government. The leader of the opposition (whoever is the largest party can make a character for this) is particularly responsible for asking a few questions. 5) The Head of Government (or Minister of Finance) is also responsible for responding to any questions that the opposition may have. If this bill is passed it will hereby take into affect once a new cabinet is chosen after the 4426 elections. |
