Message | Mr. Speaker, My constituents repeatedly tell me they do not want prostitution in their communities. But as a true liberal, I cannot support an outright ban any bill that would put restrictions on individual behavior at the national level. Therefore, I propose that prostitution regulation be left up to local governments. Allow municipalities to make decisions that are right for them. Allow them to determine to what extent and where prostitution will be legal. Join me in voting for this bill. Peter Knox MP for Axminster South Deputy Parliamentary Leader of the New Liberals |
