Bill: Respecting The Lodamun Flag Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 4425
Description[?]:
Mr. Speaker, If we were able to create regulations that would make the production of national flags, bully/activist proof then we would have introduced that bill. I am certain that videos of activists that try to burn a fire-proof Lodamun flag would amuse the majority of us here. Unfortunately, that is not an option. Instead we propose to create the legislation necessary that makes it illegal to desecrate the national flag. From our perspective this law should not only include our own national flag, but all national flags. We hope that everyone recognizes that as well. John Miller Leader of the National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We would like to ask the National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party to in the future wait with putting proposals to a vote until after a period for debate. We are somewhat sympathetic to the proposal of the National-Socialist Lodamun Workers Party and will refrain from making a judgment until we have heard the argumentation either in favour or against this proposal. Message | Mr. Speaker, The Conservative Democrats are in favor of this proposal. Citizens from every background will benefit from a common symbol behind which all can unite. It is crucial that the national flag will never be politicized and that the flag symbolizes the democratic values we all hold dear. Luca Brankic Conservative Democratic Union Lodamun |
Date | 15:36:37, July 17, 2018 CET | From | Liberal Progressives | To | Debating the Respecting The Lodamun Flag Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, A similar bill was brought to a vote earlier. We did not agree with it then because we believe citizens ought to be free to express their opinions the way they want to, as long as they aren't hurting any other citizens. We do not see the need to prevent citizens from burning our flag, simply because we don't like it when they do. Bella May, Leader of the Liberal Progressives |
