| Message | While we aren't completely against the proposed anthem, we find it wrong to remove any reference to the collective as we live in a society where people, want it or not, are interconnected. The rights of the individual shouldn't be sacrificed by the collective, we agree but we also think that solidarity should be present in our everyday's actions and that we should look out for others too. Focusing too much on individuals leads us to be mean to others and do whatever we can to win and have success without caring for our fellow human beings. Success is not defined by how well we do in life, success is defined by how well we treat others in life. As such, we'll vote against this bill. If Revival wants us to vote for changes on the anthem, we would be willing to support them if they still included collectivism and the spirit of helping each other while ensuring the protection of the rights of the individual.
