MessageHonourable Members of Parliament

I raise to remind all members of this House of Bill 1, the Royal Coronation and Continuty Act (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=574462) and its ramifications. All Parties are compelled to vote in favour of the coronation of His Imperial Highness in order to secure the Crown and the Constitution and to avoid another Constitutional Crisis as seen during the Doyle Affair.

I must stress to Republican parties in this house; it is not illegal in Hutori to be Republican and you may introduce independent notions to abolish the Monarchy as is your right, however upholding the Coronation is a punishable offense and voting against this Bill will result in your Party being ejected from this House until the end of the Parliamentary Session.

MessageMr. Speaker,

At what point should we consider eliminating the Presidency to fully recognize the rule of our great monarch?

MessageMr Speaker,

As an avid Royalist, I agree with the Member for High Street and Rune, that we should fully recognize the rule of our great monarch. However, nearly 100 years ago, we had Republicans who tried to abolish our monarchy. We found the best compromise was to allow for an elected representative of the monarch in Hutori and all of the Commonwealth nations. At this time, it is in our best interest to keep the role of president.

I am shocked that our allies in the new liberals, once fervent republicans are now advocating for the empowerment of the tragedy known as the monarchy, we would also like to warn this house that some extremist members of our party are threatining to attack the coronation and eleminante the intire royal family, we do not know names but we can warn this house

MessageMr Speaker,

If I may answer that question, while it is not technically illegal to abstain, if the abstaining party had enough seats that them abstaining would block the amendment, then yes in that case it would be illegal. In the case of the USPH, they currently do not hold enough seats to block an amendment on their own so I guess technically abstaining from the vote would not be illegal. Also, I would like the honourable member to know that should anyone be found guilty of threatening the life of our monarch, that is an act of treason and they will be punished accordingly.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
