Message | Mr Speaker The CDUL agrees with article 1, but sees no reason for chaning the names. In our understanding the title prime-minister for the head of government is obvious. Luca Brankic Party leader CDUL |

Message | Mr. Speaker, due to extensive polling it has been shown that our current system is favourited by the populace. Furthermore, if the LWA is determined on this, then also change the name of our country. Because with a hereditary head of state, we shouldn't continue with the farce that this country is a republic. James McAvoy Interim Prime Minister of the 2nd Great Democratic Republic of Lodamun OOC: small thing here, but having an elected president gives us easy access to earlier election results, which I think is very nice and a feature we cannot use if the head of state is hereditary |

Message | Mr. Speaker, This is essentially creating an executive presidency system... Which we don't really have any problems with as we feel our current president is extremely ineffective..... However we will consider this when it happens... Alex Rogue LNDP Leader in the Presidium |

Message | Mr. Speaker, the proposed executive model has been used for centuries in Lodamun while it was a Republic. We do not see why our nation would cease to be a Republic if this bill should pass. Might we stress that the changing of status for the Head of State would make the institution of President heriditary, not the person. The Head of Government, which is to be chosen by the Presidium would be the actual President of the Republic, representing the institution of President of the 2nd GDR. Marinus Waleski LWA chairman |

Message | Mr Speaker We tried to remain constructive during the debate for this proposal, but now that it has been brought out to vote suddenly, we wont. These name changes are a joke. A president and The President? Is this a joke from a 90s hip hop movie? Luca Brankic Party leader CDUL |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
