Description[?]:
Mutanabbian Law on Gambling Senators, It is well known that gambling causes numerous health and psychological problems and long-term negative consequences not only to the gambler, but also to their family and the wider society. That we continue to endorse this horrible vice while at the same time restricting other dangerous behaviors is hypocritical. For this reason we call for a complete ban on all gambling throughout the Republic, as well as a ban on advertising for gambling activities. This ban will also apply to gambling in video games, such as the use of "loot boxes" or other forms of games of chance. Haider bin Talal al-Mutanabbi Princeps Senatus |

Message | We will support a ban on gambling. However, the current proposal over video games sounds too much for us. Banning video games in the nation except those the government accepts is just a way to control the citizens. Prunus Caius Senator |

Message | Video games often include content designed to cause psychological addiction. If we are to tackle gambling we myst recognize that most forms of gambling occur not in casinos, but on smartphones and computers. Haider bin Talal al-Mutanabbi Princeps Senatus |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
