Message | Senators, We might support reciprocal tariffs and increasing foreign aid, provided measures are implemented to make sure the aid arrives at those that actually need it rather than corrupt governments. But we cannot support free movement of people. Not because we hate foreigners, but because, during periods of high tension on the labor market, employers may circumvent the rules and employ lower-wage earning foreigners and drive wages down. Message | Of course. And the best regulation is to minimize the immigration of unskilled workers that will be used by employers to drive wages down. Iennifer Vinicia Opis Dux Oppositionis |
