We, the Senators of the Popular Expression (HA-EP), introduce the following piece of legislation on government reform, justice, and liberties. The goal of this bill is to extend libertarian principles to good governance, to reduce the role of overbearing government, and to streamline the provision of government services, fairness of justice, and protection of civil liberties. Multiple citizenship is allowed without further regulations. Members of parliament and/or government are entitled to a nominal salary only. Citizens are not issued with identity cards. Only DNA from persons convicted of crime is recorded. The private sector can set up gated communities. The government ignores illegal aliens. Individuals accused of any crime have the right to trial by jury. The government has no policy concerning dueling. Legal representation is never paid for by the state. Adoption policy is to be established by local governments. Adult individuals are allowed to own and purchase guns freely. There is a regulated inheritance law, but private regulation of inheritance is allowed and not regulated. The confidentiality of letters is inviolable, but the justice dept. can violate it in extreme situations. Polygamous marriages are accorded equal recognition to monogamous marriages. |

Message | We believe it's parliamentary malpractice to ram together so many different, unrelated articles. We're in favour of some provisions, but are heavily aganist such economic deregulation. Therefore we'll vote aganist. We urge the rest of the senate to vote aganist, as protest, and heavily encourage your party to stop crafting such bills. |
