Message | Madam Speaker For too long the Baltusian Taxpayer has been on the dime for our political games and for the costs of our election campaigns; no more. With the introduction of this legislation we are putting the onus onto the Party's and Candidates themselves to raise money to fund their own election campaign. If Parties want to be successful, they will need to convince the people directly they have their best interests at heart, rather then relying on taxpayer handouts. We will open this Legislation for debate for four months before moving it to a vote. Congressman Derek Shepard (R-SA) House Majority Leader |

Message | Madam Speaker, For a long time we have supported a public funding-only policy out of a desire to keep money out of politics. In light of recent political events, we consider our previous stance to be flawed. It is clear that the government of Baltusia should not be extending its support to political entities with a history of questionable behavior. We applaud this legislation for making sure ordinary Baltusians have a say by making sure corporations and unions remain out of the process. President Wallace Howell |

Message | Madam Speaker. it is clear that our party is being threated unfairly by the population. What kind of questionnable behavior is being a victim rape for ? Yet we are still being called an extremist party of weird behavior by the republican. And contrary to what you believe, adopt such a law will not affect our capacity to raise money and funds our campaign. Elisabeth Jennings PLCA leader. |

Message | Madam Speaker Surely the Congressional Leader of the PLCA is not insinuating that the President was referring to her Party when he mentioned no one at all. This legislation doesnt target any Party; it merely takes the onus of election campaigns away from the taxpayer onto the Parties and Candidates themselves. And if the Congresswoman is confident that this legislation wont impact their fundraising capacity we are looking forward to their support for this Bill! Congressman Derek Shepard (R-SA) House Majority Leader |

Message | Madam Speaker do we have really have to tell you, us, the third party. That the president of the united states of Baltusia, has no business speaking at the place of his party. Our secretary was condemned for doing that. The president should have been invited to speak on congress. As for this bill. We believe that it would fairer, it all party could get the same ammount funding, no matters their political values or the slanderous lies that may be spoke agaisnt them. It would not be honest to allow parties to cut their opponents fundings activites with slanderous lies. We are political adversaries, not political enemies. Elisabeth Jennings PLCA leader |

Message | Madam Speaker, This is a bill we can support but only if article 3 is struck from this bill. Congressman Blake Lexington (D-Westbrook) Deputy Chairman of the United Democratic Party Leader of the Moderate Caucus |
Date | 19:30:48, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker Is there a reason why the Congressman from Westbrook wants to allow unions and corporations the ability to make donations? Congressman Derek Shepard (R-SA) House Majority Leader |
Date | 19:34:25, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker The Taxpayer shouldn't be paying for our political campaigns at all. If people are inspired to become involved in the political process or with your Party it should be their choice, not a mandate from the government. Under this Bill there is no way the government can cut funding to parties because there government funding to cut... so I repeat my statement to the Congressional Leader of the PLCA; if they are so confident they can raise money and perform adequate fundraising do we have confirmation they'll support this Bill? Or would they prefer the taxpayer continue paying for their advertisements, their slogans and their campaigns? Congressman Derek Shepard (R-SA) House Majority Leader |
Date | 20:13:02, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Government of Tropica | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker I don't believe the Congressman Shepard would appreciate us speaking lies about their parties. We want that all parties play by the same rules. the Current rules are fair and square and if something is broken, there is no reason to break it. Elisabeth Jennings PLCA leader |
Date | 21:20:55, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker I'm rather lost here on the Congressional Leader's point; what lies are we speaking about their Party and what does it have to do with the legislation that is before Congress? Congressman Derek Shepard (R-SA) House Majority Leader |
Date | 21:39:27, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Government of Tropica | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker Congressman Shepard want to be lost. What we said, is that we have no reason to destroy the current rules and that the proposed law is wrong because it allow parties to directly affect their opponents abilities to fund themselves. Elisabeth Jennings PLCA leader |
Date | 21:46:44, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Republican Party | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker This does nothing of the sort. All this legislation does is take onus of paying for campaigns away from the Government and the Taxpayer and put it on the Parties and the Candidates. Why is public money being added into the equation at all? Can the PLCA give any credible reason why the taxpayers should be expected to pay for our political campaigns? Derek Shepard House Majority Leader |
Date | 22:23:29, October 30, 2018 CET | From | Government of Tropica | To | Debating the Campaign Finance Reform Act |
Message | Madam Speaker the current allow all parties to compete fairly in elections. No one is badly juged for (political behavior) or for political misunderstanding. if the current law was adopted, our party may still suiffer from Maya's overturnned conviction for murder. We can cry all we want she is innocent, but for a public, she is guilty. And we assure Derek Shepard, that this is how the public threat politicians. If our parties was spread lies on the conservatives, we can assure the public would directly grill you for crimes you did not commit. Nothing personnal here. Elisabeth Jennings PLCA leader. |
