Message | We respectfully submit this cabinet proposal for the Assembly's consideration. While we are aware of certain disagreements between the parties here included, we feel that it would be a boon to Ikradonian democracy for the parties with a continuing electoral mandate to unite to serve the interests of the people. We believe that the arrangement of seats in this proposed cabinet best reflects the strengths of the respective parties. |

Message | Of course IRP disagrees with the proposal for the obvious reason that only two parties have positions in the cabinet. We support the idea of having the best party for the job but this is more of a dual monarchy than a democracy. At least add one more party, try to balance the power a little more. |

Message | This is not an ideal cabinet proposal, but by no means should it be considered a "dual monarchy." Now, if we were to propose a cabinet made up just of the FFP and the currently inactive NRPMP, that might rightfully be called a dual monarchy, since we agree on very many issues. The IFP and the FFP have their differences, but they are not irreconciliable, and a government including our parties would be characterized more by compromise and exchange--the very hallmarks of a successful democracy--than by the hegemonic domination of a monarchical system. Practical concerns emerge as well, in that to include a third party would mean either bringing in one of the FFP's traditional allies or the IFP's, which would upset the balance of the proposed cabinet and could result in its being rejected. Parties rise and fall; we are certain that the current success of the FFP and the IFP will at some point in the future reverse itself. For now, though, we feel that it behooves us to arrange a cabinet government that reflects the current political demands of the Ikradonian people. |

Message | Ikradon Daily News - September 1st 2202 MEKARALI CITY - As youngsters all over the country go back to school, IFP party board members can finally go home after a night of discussion and debate. What's at stake? Whether or not the IFP returns to the government seats in the Assembly, and if so, with which parties. Journalists, politicians and social partners alike are most eager to learn about the IFP's decision. Perhaps the most curious are the FFP leaders, who offered the IFP a royal amount of ministries in a cabinet proposal made public a few days ago. IFP Chairman Besnik Mustafaj revealed the decision in his short address to the press, made in the grand hall of the IFP headquarters in downtown Mekarali. "The Ikradonian Future Party has taken note of the FFP's offer, has decided to respectfully reject it. We all agreed with the FFP's arguments for a two-party government, however we also want to remain loyal to those other parties who have supported us for so many years." "If you look at the election results", Mustafaj continued, "it's clear that Ikradonians want a progressive, open-minded and strong government. We feel that there are other cabinet combinations that better reflect the citizens' wishes. We have consulted Chancellor Moisiu and will give more details of our own cabinet proposal in the coming hours. Thank you." Our special political correspondent could ask one more question before the IFP chairman retired to his townhouse. When asked which parties would be part of the new proposal, Mustafaj replied: "It's clear that the SIP has always been our biggest supporter. We look forward to their constructive ideas and suggestions. We are also considering asking the NDP to join us once more. It's not because the NDP decided to join a government that didn't include us, that we are to hold grudges against them. And lastly, the IFP feels that the new Ultamist Party has done more than enough to prove its merits. We look forward to giving its voters and its ideals an active voice in the government. Thank you, and goodnight", Mustafaj chuckled, as school busses drove past the headquarters building. |

Message | I don't want to put this to a vote, but I also don't want to delete the IFP's press release thing. What should I do? |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
