MessageAs an explanation of our party's reasons for proposing this Bill, the stance taken by our party is that our country should never enter any treaties which impose any legislative requirements on our country. While we are happy to enter treaties intended to improve diplomatic relations with other nations or establish international organisations, we take issue with treaties intended to change domestic laws or impose constraints on domestic law-making, amendment and repeal, which should be a matter of national law and national law-makers alone.

MessageThe Right to Privacy Treaty and Global Emancipation Treaty are Sekouo's commitment upholding core values shared across the world. The values expressed in these treaties are concurrent with Sekouan values. They are important in showing that Sekouo stands with the rest of the modern world.

As for the film society, we believe giving our filmmakers a platform to spread our film and culture to the world is an important one that will eventually allow Sekouan culture to spread the world.

MessageTo be clear, our party does support being part of an international film society, we simply object to the presence of an article in that treaty imposing treaty obligations as to what the national policy on regulation on movies can or cannot be. That is in breach of our national sovereignty and internal dominion over this country. No external body should be able to impose restrictions on the Emperor's dominion and control, and that of his law-makers and Ministers.

As for claims that Sekouo must be in line with the core values of a modern world, we submit that Sekouo must be in line with the values of Sekowans, that is the one and only requirement of our national government. The protections secured in those treaties will remain in place so long as that is what the people of Sekouo, and them alone, support.

MessageWe believe in isolationism and the right to follow our own paths. Even if we agreed to the treaties above, our country has the capabilities of making our own laws and convictions.
