Bill: HS-5: No Death Penalty Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Hutori Socialists
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4499
Description[?]:
Mr Speaker, I seek to present the No Death Penalty Act on behalf of the Hutori Socialists. In a contemporary, advanced nation such as ours, it comes as a shock that we *still* have the death penalty. The death penalty is dangerous and gives the state the god-like power to determine life and death. This is an incredible overreach of power and so, therefore, we propose that it be abolished and banned in its entirety. - Kenneth Alden (HS-AD) Hutori Socialists spokesperson for Justice |

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law. |
